It's freakishly cold in Seattle. Too cold to do anything but whine - we don't do well with extreme temperatures.
With that being said, it was one of those really low key weekends; The kind that are spent mostly horizontal in front
of the TV. I watched a total of three movies and still managed to get a decent amount of homework done.
I took the liberty of noting some really important information that was gathered:
+ In the dire time of a Snickers craving, the Snickers "2 to go" packs are great for sharing, but be prepared for a THICK Snickers
bar. Biting through was an actual challenge. It really threw me off.
+ Silver Linings Playbook is seriously so good. Definitely a must see!
+ Hitchcock's thing for blondes is really kinda endearing.
+ I have my own thing for a man in a lumberjack flannel - also endearing.
+ Swinging makes for a perfect homework break, even if you have to walk back home after 10 minutes because it's so
friggin' cold. Again, extreme temperatures are not handled well in these parts.
+ Grizzly Man is just as good the millionth time watching it as it was the first. Spirit the fox might be my spirit animal.
Low key or not, I hope everyone had a excellent weekend.
Because excellent weekends are crucial for human survival.

boys in lumberjack flannels and horizontal weekends are all anyone needs to survive freezing temperatures.
ReplyDeleteand I'm just going to take a second to thank you for what you said. thank you so much.
I can't wait to see Silver Linings Playbook. I might have a tiny girl crush on Jennifer Lawrence.
ReplyDeletethis definitely sounds like my kinda weekend. the horizontal ones are the best.
